Join us this summer at the University of Louisville for a highly structured three-day pole vault camp led by Louisville Cardinal coach Brooke Rasnick and her talented athletes. With years of experience coaching at the professional, collegiate and youth level, Rasnick brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the sport.  

 

Campers will train in top-tier facilities using high-quality equipment while receiving hands-on instruction designed to elevate their technique, boost their confidence, and grow their love for the sport. Campers will master new skills and have a blast with fellow vaulters, this camp delivers the ultimate pole vault experience.

​*Both camps will utilize a similar format.  We wanted to give families multiple options to choose the best dates that work for them.​*

 

Camp Pick Up / Drop Off Times

Friday - Day 1

  • Drop Off/Check-In: 8:55am-9:20am

  • Check-Out/Pick-Up: 5:15pm-5:30pm​

Saturday - Day 2

  • Drop Off/Check-In: 8:55am-9:20am

  • Check-Out/Pick-Up: 5:15pm-5:30pm​

Sunday - Day 3

  • Drop Off/Check-In: 8:55am-9:20am

  • Check-Out/Pick-Up: 12:45pm-1:00pm​

Overnight Accommodations

These are day camps. Housing, transportation, breakfast and dinners will be the campers’ responsibility.

 

Age/Experience Requirement

This camp is open to any and all participants regardless of ability, only limited by grade level.  Athletes must be at least a rising 7th grader to participate. If you’re brand new to the sport or highly experienced, we’ll meet you where you are at to improve your skills and understanding of the event.  Athletes will be grouped based on ability levels.

Refund Policy

If your plans change, a full refund will be issued if desired before the last early bird sign up date (Camp #1: May 27th, Camp #2: May 29th). After the early bird date, if you desire a refund there will be a non-refundable $150 deposit per camper to cover expenses and lost opportunity. The rest of the camp fee will be refunded.

 

Registration

All registration and payments will be done online.

 

Food and Hydration

Lunch will be provided on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Snacks and water jugs will be available throughout camp. Campers are required to bring a water bottle.

 

Poles and Equipment

Over 400 poles will be available for campers to utilize.  You may bring your own if you desire and can store them at the facility between camp days.  Reach out to louisvillepolevault@gmail.com if you have questions about what poles will be available. We will utilize 3 pole vaults pits and gymnastics equipment.  Campers will be split into groups based on ability levels.We also plan to utilize a speed trap to capture velocity and test other athletic measurements.

Video Review and Feedback

We will utilize video recording during camp for immediate feedback and explanations. Each camper will receive athletic statistics, personal evaluation and tailored performance goals within the weeks following the camp.​
